Simplicity is Beauty. Our Magnetic Window Covers are designed to save you time with their everyday use. Everything is quick and easy.
Most of our Magnetic Window Covers attach to the vehicle using strong magnets. Always place the coarser side facing outwards and the smooth, glossy side facing inwards. If you’re still unsure, you should always see the BohemianVan label from inside the vehicle when looking at the window cover.
This simple approach allows you to start using our window covers in your vehicle immediately. The windshield and MaxxFan require a bit more attention initially. The installation procedure for these is outlined below.
Windshield
On the exterior side at the top, two or four strong magnets are sewn directly into the window cover. You will also receive two or four additional black magnets with 3M adhesive tape. These magnets need to be attached to the top of the windshield to ensure the window cover stays in place. For the initial installation, you will need a degreasing agent (e.g., alcohol or, preferably, isopropyl alcohol). We recommend starting by thoroughly cleaning the upper area of the windshield.
For the first installation of the window cover on the windshield, start by aligning the bottom edge along the bottom of the windshield. Make sure the window cover is well-centered and fits snugly against the edges of the glass on all sides. Then, gradually press the center of the window cover upwards. Secure the window cover on both the right and left sides using the sun visors/shields. Finally, remove the protective film from the magnets attached to the top of the windshield and stick them in place. Press very firmly for several seconds. Do not touch the adhesive tape under any circumstances!
After applying the magnets, we recommend waiting at least 72 hours before exposing them to prolonged stress from the window cover. The application temperature should be 15-25 °C.
MaxxFan
Along with the MaxxFan window cover, you will receive a set of magnets with 3M adhesive tape on both sides. You will also need a screwdriver and a degreasing agent (e.g., alcohol).
Installation Steps:
1. Remove the plastic frame around the fan.
2. Place the window cover on a flat surface with the coarse black side facing up.
3. Clean the inner side of the frame with the degreasing agent.
4. Center the frame on the window cover.
5. Place the magnets provided with the window cover into the frame so they align with the magnets sewn into the window cover.
6. Adhere the magnets into the frame and reattach it in place.
You’re done. The window cover will now stay securely on the plastic frame thanks to the magnets.
Cleaning/Maintenance
Dirt and stains can be easily removed from our window covers with warm soapy water and a cloth.
